Last night, members of the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department Dive Team took to the pool at Yorktown Middle School for a vital training session. With summer fast approaching, our lakes and waterways will soon be filled with swimmers, boaters, and families enjoying the warmer weather — and that means being ready for anything.

These pool drills are more than just practice — they ensure our team stays sharp, responsive, and fully prepared for water rescues and emergencies. Training in a controlled environment like the YMS pool allows our divers to refine their techniques, test equipment, and strengthen coordination as a unit.
