At approximately 7:15 AM this morning, Mahopac Falls Fire Department and Carmel VAC were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident on Hitchcock Hill Road. Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle off the road and into the woods. EMS personnel assessed the patient and transported them to the hospital for further evaluation.

Ongoing Incident: Our crews are currently operating at another MVA on Bullet Hole Road. The roads are extremely slick due to snow and ice, making travel hazardous.

We urge all drivers to slow down, allow extra travel time, and use extreme caution in these winter conditions.
