In the early hours of November 5, just after midnight, the Mahopac Falls VFD, Carmel Police Department, and EMS units responded to a reported structure fire in the Lake Secor area. Initial reports suggested the possibility of occupants still inside the residence. Upon arrival, 19-DC-7 confirmed an active fire.

The confirmation of a working structure fire initiated a mutual aid response, deploying additional units from neighboring departments to assist. The three occupants were safely removed from the home and were transported by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.

At approximately 6 a.m., the Mahopac Falls VFD, EMS, and Carmel Police were redispatched to the scene for a rekindle after flames were observed through the roof. Carmel Police confirmed a second working structure fire, reactivating the mutual aid protocol to secure necessary support for this secondary response.

The Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department expresses deep gratitude to the surrounding fire departments and EMS units for their swift and coordinated assistance.
