Yesterday afternoon at approximately 4:07 PM, Mahopac Falls VFD and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident with a potential entrapment. Captain Ward provided initial assessment upon arrival, reporting three vehicles involved with a total of five individuals affected. Wednesday Night Extrication Drill

Last night, our members met at “the yard” to continue our Extrication Training series which was being taught by Captain Ward.
With the help of 2nd Assistant Chief Stasiak and Captain Johnson, Captain Ward simulated a 2 car motor vehicle accident with entrapment to replicate a real-life emergency, emphasizing the importance of swift and effective response strategies.

A busy Wednesday morning for The Falls!

The Ant Hill Mob had a busy start to the day. At approximately 9 am, Mahopac Falls VFD was requested with their marine unit to Mahopac’s Fire District for a reported fire on Petre Island.
Then, as units were returning to service at approximately 9:30 am, Mahopac Falls EMS was dispatched to Myrtle Avenue to assist Carmel Police with an unknown medical.
