Around 6am, Monday, Carmel Police, MFVFD Fire, EMS and Fire Police, in addition to Mahopac EMS and EMStar paramedics were called out for a one car accident on West Lake Blvd. and Vista Terrace. First responding units found a car off the road and driver out of the vehicle. Incident Commander Asst. Chief Brian Sacher cancelled fire response and directed Fire Police to close West Lake Blvd. to traffic as the vehicle was winched out. The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported by Mahopac EMS
