Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS, and Fire Police, Mahopac EMS, multiple units from the Carmel Police and PCSO and EMStar Medics 2 & 3 all converged on the straightaway on Hill Street just past the entrance to Putnam National golf course for a motorcycle vs car accident. Fire Police units immediately closed Hill Street at Kaitlyn Dr. and at Tyler Ct. Asst. Chief Brian Neary assumed the role as Incident Commander and coordinated patient care with the Medics and EMS and scene safety with police units. One patient was airlifted to the Medical Center by Lifenet helicopter based out of Hackensack, N.J.

Hill Street was closed for three hours as CPD and PCSO units conducted their investigation before Fire units were cleared to return to headquarters.
