Car vs. Bus on Baldwin Place Rd

At 2:28pm today, Mahopac Falls Fire, Rescue, EMS and Fire Police were dispatched, along with EMStar paramedics and multiple PCSO units already on the scene at Baldwin Place Rd. at the entrance of the High School for a car vs bus accident with injuries. Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS, Heavy Rescue and Fire Police were dispatched to a serious car accident/rollover in front of 124 West Lake Blvd. Chief Brian Sacher took Incident Command for the second time in six hours as Capt. Chris Tompkins handled Operations. Fire Police closed the road once all vehicles were on the scene. Damage to three properties along the lake road was apparent and units realized ... Sunday morning brought a gloomy day, but not even the rain could dampen the spirits of the members of the Mahopac Falls Fire Dept. as they opened their doors to neighboring fire companies with their Annual Inspection. Members of the Westchester County Judges Assoc. went over all apparatus with white gloves and clipboards in hand.

No Caption smoke in a unit....Williamsburg Ridge off Stillwater RD

Midday on Saturday, a call for smoke in a condo unit in the Williamsburg Ridge development got Mahopac Falls Fire and Fire Police, along with Officer Crecco from Carmel Police on the road with two pumper/tankers. A slight haze and odor were noticed, as Lt. Stasiak entered with the thermal imaging camera. No fire was found.... (Full Story & Photos)
