Just after noon, Monday, Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS and Fire Police, along with a second EMS unit from Mohegan VAC and multiple units from Carmel Police, were dispatched to a two-car accident with injury at Rt. 6N and the Westchester County line. Smoke in the Residence

Late Saturday afternoon, the Mahopac Falls Fire Dept., Carmel Police, and EMStar paramedic were dispatched to Grandview Dr. in the Lake Baldwin section of the district for smoke in the house. EMS was added to the response after a call for the resident experiencing troubled breathing. The prettiest Christmas tree in three counties, at the Mahopac Falls Fire Headquarters, was lost to the tornado that caused havoc back in May of this year. People would have the firehouse as their first stop when they would wrap up the family, grab some hot cocoa and head out for an evening of looking at light displays. Coming from ...
