Water rescue/recovery Sparkle Lake, Mutual Aid to Yorktown

Mahopac Falls Dive Team was requested to assist Yorktown Fire Dept. at Sparkle Lake in Yorktown with a search for a victim in the water. Saturday afternoon brought a full response from the Mahopac Falls Fire & EMS along with units from Carmel Police, PCSO, MFVFD Fire Police and EMStar to the intersection of Secor Rd. and Entrance Way for a motorcycle vs car with personal injury reported.

Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS, and Fire Police, Mahopac EMS, multiple units from the Carmel Police and PCSO and EMStar Medics 2 & 3 all converged on the straightaway on Hill Street just past the entrance to Putnam National golf course for a motorcycle vs car accident. Car vs Pole Rollover MVA

Assistant Chief Brian Neary & Captain Robert Trace, June 23

At approximately 5pm, Mahopac Falls Fire and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Route 6N and Fabri Court for a reported motor vehicle accident rollover. Upon arrival of first units, they found a 4 door sedan rolled over on the driver side and the driver of the vehicle pinned in his seat, confirming entrapment.
